In compliance with the commandments of the supreme religious authority and the result of the current circumstance the country is going through due to the Corona Virus pandemic, Al-Ameed University, under the direction of its president, Professor Dr. Moayad Al-Ghazali, has established a community volunteer initiative represented by distributing a set of food baskets that reached more than (200) various food baskets For the needy families and the low-income families whose work was stopped due to the curfew imposed by the government authorities in the governorates of Iraq, including the holy Karbala.
(9) Varied varieties of food and dry materials that families need in order to meet their daily needs, as this initiative is one of the university's duties towards society under the current circumstances.
